    I think it's about someone who is left by his girlfriend without any reason, they never communicate again but he still hoping that she will come back to him, and in fact he still loves the girl...

    I think it's about the moon:

    the moon is a natural satellite of the earth, it has a habbit of dissapearing,(one a month in fact) it's in the sky, surrounded by starsand it's often behind the clouds.
