Stevie Wonder: Higher Ground Meaning
Song Released: 1973
Higher Ground Lyrics
-
I've forgotten when the multi-talented STEVIE WONDER wrote and sang this song that was partially about being grateful to ''HIM'' to be alive who got a second chance in life, after living a sinner's life and almost died, being for four days in a coma after a car accident with a log truck that came through the car windshield. After coming out of the coma he felt ''HE'' was aiming him faithfully by ''HIS'' spirit to be thankful to, and better his life to make it to a ''HIGHER GROUND'' Happy Birthday! Stevie Wonder, and always thanks for the music.

Hmm it's about a guy who dies, and after a long long time God send him back to Earth so he sees what has changed, and writes it in the song also he says: I'm so darn glad he (God) let me try it again, coz' my last time on Earth I lived a whole world of sin'', so he realizes how everything goes on, the powers keep on lying the people keep on believing and...That's it (That s my opinion)
