This is Home Lyrics

Often I am upset
That I cannot fall in love
But I guess
This avoids the stress of falling out of it
Are you tired of me yet?
I'm a little sick right now
But I swear
When i'm ready I will fly us out of here
I'll cut my hair
To make you...

I think it is about how a transgender person comes out and faces the world.

I believe that this song is in the point of view of a closeted transgender (ftm). For instance, the lyric “I’ll hide my chest” demonstrates dysphoria.

I think it's about being trans and also about being autistic, because I'm nonbinary (which falls under the trans umbrella) and autistic and I relate to it both ways

I think it’s about the POV of someone that’s asexual and wants to love someone but can’t commit to them.

Well I definitely sense trans vibes and also mental illness such as autism, anxiety, depression and others depending on what lyrics you look at. It is also about finding who you are and being aromantic/asexual.

I beleive the song is about someone facing the struggles of being transgender (mtf) as suggested in the lines "I'll hide my chest" Those demonstrate simple symtoms of body dysphoria. Not only that, but he talks about being aromantic as suggested in the lines, "Often i am upset, that I can not fall in love but i guess.. just avoids the stress of falling out of it"

I also believe that this song is about closeted transgenders ,but I believe that there is more than one and one of them is promising to keep the other safe no matter what

The first half is about being trans and the second half is about autism

Someone that perhaps has gone through difficulties and the only place where it feels like "home" is by being closer to God. That with him everything is better. Changing old habits and not going back to them.

This song is about to things...
Going to heaven when Jesus comes back, or about finally coming to Jesus after all the questions you have had about christianity. This is a powerful and wonderful song.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
