This song is about vocalist/guitarist Kris Roe singing to his son or daughter about how he is never there for them due to touring and recording(life as a musician) and the fact that he is always gone and he explains that he knows what it is like to grow up with out a father. In my opinion this is the saddest song I have ever heard.
