   haha I forgot to put this in imy other entry. What if Andy is gay? I think that Andy and the narrator had some kind of fling or something, but Andy doesn't want it let out or anything cause I mean, a gay high school football star. can you imagine how badly that kid would get beat? So he keeps up his whole persona of being straight...while the narrator is really in love with him.

   The Killers are from Las Vegas, not England like one of the anonymous people says. And brandon hinted in an interview that the song was about a crush he had on a football star at his school. I guess it's things like that that make people question his sexuality.

   I heard that song at a gsa meeting. What does Natalie have to do with anything? Also, even if Andy was a girl, it would still have some sort of queer meaning no matter which way you look at it.

   One interpretation I've heard is that Andy is a high school football star, and the narrator is obsessed with him. The narrator thought he and Andy were really great friends, but Andy wasn't really that interested. Brandon Flowers has allegedly insinuated in some article (I've never personally read it) that Andy might be a girl.
