There Families were from areas that conflicted for hundereds of Years But no one really recognized that so much anymore. On there Day to Be Married There familes were There ,The Man and His Soon to be Bride were Each on Horseback Dressed in White Satin= The Wedding was DENIED.

   Don't attach too much meaning to the lyrics of Knights in White Satin. It was part of a concept album that the Moody Blues wrote and they needed a final piece for night time. In an interview a band member stated that they were in a hotel room that had satin sheets. He said that once they started the song took less time to write than it takes to perform.

   A most awesome song period, but yes, also THE most awesome song about cocaine.
   
   "Nights in white satin, never reaching the end,"
   Nights in cocaine NEVER end. Trust me lol.
   
   "Beauty I'd always missed with these eyes before."
   Cocaine is a potent cognitive enhancer. And arguably moreso than the other CII psycho-stimulants amphetamine etc. pop brands Dexedrine, Adderall, Ritalin.
   
   "Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore."
   Justin is being truthful and honest but obviously could and would not describe his experiences in any flat out direct way.
   
   This song is an example of "songs about drugs" that is what the context and mindset should be limited to. Lyrics that contain no direct references. Others imho Petty, Tom, "The Waiting", and Dirty Vegas, "Days Go By".

   Knights (nights) in White Satin is sad. I can remember going thru exactly what he is singing about. I think we all wrote letters to a soon to be lost romance without any intentions of sending them, it made me feel better to put it on paper. A new love has entered his life and it sounded to me like a rebound romance. Those can be real but they never last (Obviously his did)
