I think it's about losing the ones you love and staying strong because someone out there needs you. That person doesn't understand how they're still strong.

It shows that even someone as famous as three days grace can go through a depressing time in life and who they are and who they know can not change the deep sorrow you feel after a tragedy.

This song is about witnessing a friend or family member go through a deep depression. They were there for them and still are. It's really soothing when I'm feeling really depressed, and especially if I can't fall asleep because of it.
