Twenty One Pilots - Morph Meaning

Song Released: 2018
Morph Lyrics
For now I see that "if" and "when" are truly different cries
For "if" is purely panic and "when" is solemn sorrow
And one invades today while the other spies tomorrow
We're surrounded and we're...

I've noticed a lot of people interpret this song to be about insecurity, but I think it's about people-pleasing. It says that he'll "morph into someone", and that's something that people often do so people will like them. It feels more like a song about trying to find your identity after you've hidden who you truly were for so long. I feel like it's specifically about hiding who they are for a significant other, as he asks if they're still in love. I may just be projecting my own past issues onto this song, but that's how I interpret it.

I think morph is about death. Yes I know that is very cruel but i am strongly certain it is. This song is about the three ways to overcome death. Above which is trusting in god, under is saying that life is just bad because I’m just going to die anyway, and around is a scientific solution. Then he says let try above or god, but when we do will it truly be out of love or just being saved.

I think morph is about Tylers or peoples insecurities. For example, "i'll morph to someone else." It sounds like this means he doesn't want to be himself anymore.
