Search and Destroy Lyrics
I'm no hero guilty as charged
Search and destroy
Found my faith, living in sin
I'm no Jesus but neither are you my friend
I'm a whore above the broken dreams
This simple answer is never what it seems

I agree with the introspection, but it seems more like he's recognized that he isn't perfect, and doesn't try to be. I'm pretty sure the ''million little pieces'' is in reference to his heart. In that it was broken by sins of the past and how ''the heart is desperately evil, or full of malice.'' Something like that, I've heard that jared leaves interpretation to the listener.

For me, "Search And Destroy" is a song about someone whose trying to search his mistakes and to destroy them. Simply, self-introspection process of a man.
