Alan Jackson: Remember When Meaning
Song Released: 2003
Remember When Lyrics
and time stood still and love was all we knew
You were the first, so was I
We made love and then you cried
Remember when
Remember when we vowed the vows
and walked the walk
Gave our hearts, made...

Could be interpreted in a a couple of ways, either it's a song about AJ and his wife and life, but if he sent the song to someone new in his life, who gave him a new spirit and lust for life, then it's about that new person.
-
A Life that grew apart and came back together and stronger than ever!!
-
I think it's about love, about what they did in the past and a little reminder.

AJ is reflecting back on his relationship with his wife. They were each other's first, got married, & began their lives. There's a goodbportion of the song dedicaded to a lot of emotional pain & their lives were turned upside down as a result: "there was joy, there was hurt"...."life was changed, disassembled, rearranged. We came together, fell apart and broke each other's heart" but were able to work through it according to these 3 biggies he says: "brought back the love, we found trust, vowed we'd never give it up." He finishes by talking about their kids growing up but when they move, they'll be grateful. A lot of pain and a lot of love in this song & basically he's basically saying they talk about all this later in life, "Do you remember when we did..." Beautiful song.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
"he" is saying to his girl, when we were young we had great times. and "he" is trying to look back and remind "her" about the amazing times

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
