You'll Never Know Lyrics
Guess your words just came a little too late
All the drama boy it's overkill
Don't be mad at me cause you've been replaced, know your place
But if you woulda manned up, put your hand up, stand up

No... If you really listen to the lyrics, it’s saying how the guy secretly liked her and was too scared to say anything while she liked him too. Awhile later, she has a boyfriend and the other guy finally tells her how he feels about her but she doesn’t feel the same way anymore and so it sucks to be all in his head...

From my point of view, it looks like Ariana told a boy that she adored more than anything how she felt and he didn't feel the same way. Years later, she finally moved on and fell in love with someone else who adores her back. Now her past crush comes to his senses and loves Ariana now but he is too late. So now he will "never know" how their relationship could've gone.

My opinion is that she liked a boy and admitted it to him but he didn’t like her,she soon moved on and got a boyfriend and now the boy that didn’t like her finally wants her but it’s too late ! ,so she is saying that now the boy will never know how their ‘relationship’ could’ve went .

I think it's about how she admitted to a guy that she liked him, but he said he didn't feel the same, so she fell in love with someone else and when she and the guy started dating the guy from the beginning told her he loves her, but she says it's too late!! I just told a whole story....... Wow!!!! Lol, I LOVE Ari and this song!!!!
