The thing I love most about this song is how clear yet cloudy the message that Aaron Bruno is trying to send. He's not talking to whoever is listening, he is talking directly to Rainman. After 15 years he finally made his approach to Bruno; this song is him slamming the door on the Devil's face. This song tells the story of his musical life. Saying "Im on fire" is mocking the Dev and Aaron writes that he'll keep what hes earned and he is the one in control.. not Rainman.
