Tonight is the Night I Fell Asleep at the Wheel Lyrics

Driving home to be with you
The highway's dividing, the city's in view
As usual, I'm almost on time
You're the last thing that's on my mind
I wish I could tell you the way that I feel
But tonight is the night I fell asleep at the wheel

Wikipedia's page for Ed Robertson says that this song refers to Ed's brother Doug. Doug died in 1993 after crashing his motorcycle, and this song is apparently based on Ed's curiosity about what his brother was thinking about during his last moments.
