Blink-182: Carousel Meaning
Carousel Lyrics
I never felt so alone again
I stop to think at a wishing well
My thoughts send me on a carousel
Here I am standing on my own
Not a motion from the telephone
I know not a reason why
Solitudes a reason to...

as per the lyrics provided on this site I believe just by looking at the first three paragraphs
"I talk to you every now and then
I never felt so alone again
I stop to think at a wishing well
My thoughts send me on a carousel
Just by the first paragraph
its about an ex talking to her every now and then and he feels alone and wishes he gets back together
Here I am standing on my own
Not a motion from the telephone
I know not a reason why
Solitudes a reason to die
Calls her leaves a message and she doesn't call him back or care because she is totally over him and he just wants to die because he's miserable with out her
Just you wait and see
As school life is a
It is a woken dream
Aren't you feeling alone?"
Threatens that he will kill himself if she doesnt take him back they met in school and he has dreams of her and wants to know if shes alone too

Carousel is my fav blink song.............the band is trying to show how when you grow up and have to start working for a living life begins to somewhat suck and you realize how hard it is to get by in life. It also shows how lonely life can be when you have to work all day and then come home eat then sleep and then do it all over again for many years
-
Yeah I thinks it's about how hard life realy is and being lonely 'a tank of gas was a treasure to me I know now that nothing is free'

"Talk to you every now and then never felt so alone again" He is singing about how hard it is to live on his own after high skool and how he misses his mothers cooking "Buy food every once and a while but not enough to purchase a smile"
