Blink-182: Here's Your Letter Meaning
Here's Your Letter Lyrics
Fall asleep all alone
Hear your voice in the dark
Lose myself in your eyes
Choke my voice Say goodnight
as the world falls apart
Fuck I can't let this kill me, let go
I need some more time to fix this
Here's a...

#1 top rated interpretation:This song, like many songs, is another you can make mean whatever you feel.
To me its about writing a letter to a person you love that doesn't love you back. they say "Fuck, I cant let this kill me, let go." so they want to move on, but it's hard. The person obvously means a lot to them because they say "My life just lost all meaning." -
this song is, for me, about a girl who might have liked a guy, but she is mad him. I would imagine that the guy liked the girl yet was too scared to make a move. So he essentially manned-up and sent her a letter explaining that he is confused and is still not ready to make the next move.

I Know the true meaning of the song, but I have REALLY bad jealousy issues and I happened to write a letter to my girlfriend when I actually listened to these lyrics and when I relate what he's saying to jealousy It makes sense to me too..

I heard mark say in one of the interviews that he wrote this song on two people not being able to talk it out with out fighting, so the boyfriend wrote a letter and gave it to the girl hence " here's a letter for you"

The song is about a horribly depressed man who was just dumped by the love of his life. He plans to kill himself and writes a suicide note to his ex-lover. She reads it and rushes off to save him because the letter explains that he can't live without her and asks her to save him from his own actions (his attempt at suicide).
I always hoped that she gets to him just in time to save him. -
To me, this song is about a guy who was in a relationship and as hard as he tries he can't get over her. He thinks of her every second of the day. He still thinks he can get her back and be happy, he just needs more time. So he writes her a letter thinking that this will bring her back, but she misunderstands the letter. They have a big fight, and he apologizes for things he didn't do. In the end he still loses her. So he was cursed since the beginning. So now he has sleepless nights on his bed thinking about her. All the memories playing like movies in his head, and he just keeps rewinding using the ceiling as the screen, but its empty. So without her blonde hair and green eyes his world has turned black and white. In his mind he has no reason to be a part of this world. He can't live without her. He is contemplating suicide, but yet he wonders if she still thinks of him. He still has a chance to fix it, he just needs more time.

Thought it was about beginning a relationship and being really afraid of fucking it up.

You guys are the biggest dumb asses the intro to a different song is a letter mark's grampa wrote to his grandma, but other than that mark's grandparents have shit to do with it. It is however about screwing up what you want to say and loving someone and just being in a fucked up situation of the relationship

I thought this song was sort of a letter that he wanted to send but didn't. It was more like an imaginary letter just so he could get his feelings onto paper and out in the open. Its begins being the letter he would send and describing the mood and situation, then, he begins to sort of talk to himself as he is writing.
I can relate to this song very very very much. -
