    To me, this song as about growing up, and how everything is less severe as a kid. Time is moving, and adulthood is on its way, but for now, you're young. Everything is sort of frozen around you. Sure, you drink, learn a lot of things, and even find love. However, it's not usually the kind that will take any part of you away.
