Had Enough Lyrics

Milk it for all it's worth.
Make sure you get there first.
The apple of your eye.
The rotten core inside.
We are all prisoners.
Things couldn't get much worse.
I've had it up to here, you know your end is near.

[Chorus:]
You had to have...

I'm thinking that this song is about a person who is struggling internally and turns to drugs or alcohol abuse. they're pushing everyone in their life aside and hurting them. They're turning into a person that the people in their life do not recognize. I think the line "you greedy little bastard, you will get what you deserve..." can mean that doing drugs and getting drunk is being greedy in the sense that the person is using it for their own pleasure and happiness, and they don't care if it's hurting the people who are in their life. Since the person is pushing everyone aside and refuses to open up and let the people in their life help them out, they're going to suffer in their own misery in the end, they'll get what they deserve...they'll become more and more depressed and keep falling into their own hole, which keeps getting bigger and bigger.

    aahh that's what I think ;]
you could disagree if you want. This is a great song.

First off this has to be the second best song from Breaking Benjamin (besides diary of jane). Secondly this song I think is about someone taking everything away from someone else and they are greedy and will eventually get what is coming to them. "you had to have it all, well have you had enough, you greedy little bastard you will get what you deserve".this person just takes and takes and never gives back, and the other person is getting really mad and will get back at them and dispise them. "when all is said and done, I will be the one, to leave you in your misery and hate what you've become". That's what I think this song is.
