It's Not Over Lyrics

I was blown away, what could I say?
It all seemed to make sense
You're taking away everything
And I can't do without

I try to see the good in life
But good things in life are hard to find
We're blowing away, blowing away
Can we make this...

A relationship has ended and the man is in agony over it. He feels like it came out of nowhere but looking back he saw the signs so it all makes sense. "You've taken away everything, and I can't deal with that" speaks to his mental state because of the break up. She was his life and he can't accept that it's really over. "A part of me is dead and in the ground" also speaks to his feelings...A part of him died when she left him. "taking all I can take and I cannot wait", He's tired of the pain and he's anxious to get this settled. "We're wasting too much time, being strong and holding on". Friends always try to tell you to "be strong" and "Just hold on" but he's tired of hearing it and believes enough time has been wasted already and its time to resolve this. The rest is him pleading with the woman to give the relationship another chance "Let's start over", and he promises to "try and get it right this time around". "It's not over" speaks to his perspective...it's not over for him because he's still in love with her refuses to believe this is the end."My life with you means everything, so I won't give up that easily"...self explanatory..He believes their relationship is worth fighting for. "This love is killing me, but you're the only one"...The pain of loving someone who doesn't love you is the worst, but she's the only one he wants to love.
