   To me, this song is about depression, and overcoming it. Depression often comes back in waves, and she's saying she's not going back. As someone with depression this is what it means to me.

   Men must know what they truly want in a woman. Until they know what their likes and dislikes about themselves and when it comes to the opposite gender, they will have issues in their relationships. Unless they reveal who they truly are, a woman will not understand them. Like men, women can't read a mind. They will not know how you truly are if mwn will not be open and will not communicate. Perhaps these types of men who collect the jar of hearts are broken mentally and emotionally. That they feel it's their right to collect the hearts of girls and break their hearts. It's truly a matter of principles and priorities. I still believe men can stick to only one woman if she really gets him and they are free to talk about anything without being reprimanded. The right woman will be the only woman a man can give truly his heart and soul. Until then, he will have difficulty when dealing with women and in his relationships. Good luck to all gals and guys.

   Jar of hearts. No need for an interpretation. These kinds of guys really exist. But there are a lot of men who can stick to one woman. It's only a matter of principles and what you truly are will show in the outside even if you don't reveal who you truly are. Actions are more important. Words has no meaning.    It's about a guy with a sex/love addiction (not addition:) ).
   The focus is on her, though I feel for him too as he is unlikely to know why he has issues with his relationships and can't stick to one woman. There is always another side to every story.

    The corporations and people who profit from the are running around leaving millions of people scarred everyday
    Collecting there jar of hearts
    
    When your hooked you learn to live half alive
    
    The people who profit from these immorale enterprises are ruthless people with ice running through their viens
    
    But if your strong enough you remind yourself that you can't take one more step towards it because all that's waiting is regret
    
    You realise that your not your addictions ghost anymore
