I am a humble monkey
Sitting up in here again
But then came the day
I climbed out of these...

This song is about the road of Dave's life. He started out as just another person and soon became famous. "But then came the day I climbed out of these safe limbs Ventured away Walking tall, head high up and singing" He left his old life and came to a new one. He also wonders if he really wants this crazy new life. "I wonder do I want the simple, simple life that I once lived in well Oh things were quiet then In a way they were the better days" He loves making music and obviously is liking the path he chose.
