Don't Shut 'Em Down Lyrics

Sad days, Kissing the cheeks

of the families who are walking away

Tragic, the pubs are opposing

The System is broken, decay

Because Business is down at the depot,

Defences are the only things built

Neighbours wave goodbye...

The recent economic collapse, and how it effected the common man. It is about how people lost their jobs and homes. It speaks of people being hurt by the economic system, "the system is broken, decay". It is more specifically about how the economic collapse effected Detroit, which is where Dave King and Bridget Regan live. It is about the depression that people effected felt.
