Glass Animals: Pork Soda Meaning
Pork Soda Lyrics
You took my hand and you made me run
Up past the prison to the seafront
You climbed the cliff edge and took the plunge
Why can't we laugh now like we did then?
How come I see you and ache...

Pork soda is an alcohol beverage, so he is literally talking about drinking pork soda and getting drunk with his lover. I think it's also a about a relationship that started with sparks and fizzled out
-
Its about drugs and he is in drugs. and he has lover. and they didnt have a very healthy releationship.

I Believe it's a drug/relationship problem, the song has a whole bunch of deep and meaningful lyrics. In the song, they mentioned "you climbed the cliff edge and took the plunge" I'm pretty sure he's referring that both he and his lover were naive at the beginning, but it led to mental problems. This was caused because of immaturity, and curiosity. But along with that, he said, "I'm no sweet prince of love." which again, showed they blindly followed feelings. Now another way that this could be seen is that they both found the similarities which was named "pineapples" which led to some sort of problems with a common drug they were able to get their hands on, as stated form the song once again, "I want you all the time" which if looking deeper, it didn't feel like he was referring to the lover he was with. It felt more directed to the drug more than the lover. which saddened the lover. Glass Animals then says in a roundabout way that "I want you for the world, I want you all the time" which doesn't once again seem directed to the lover.
But after one of them sobered up from the drugs, the other was wondering where their 'good times' went. Which is referred to as the formerly used drugs. After the break up he became numb on both feelings and drugs. This caused him to become broken and quote on quote "brain dead.
I may totally be wrong but that's how I interpreted it.

What I think the song Pork soda means is that he is on a drug. I think this because the song says pineapples are in my head. Pineapples is a type of drug.
Also him having a loved one as said in the song. But I think they slowly drifted away from each other
