The meaning of this song, in my own opinion is about someone who is troubled and it fighting their way out of their own darkness in order to prove to themselves they shall rise above the darkness.

It's about drug usage and how the guy needs help.

Friction could be anxiety, or tenseness- but it is definately something that the POV is trying to dissolve. If you say it out loud people will lie about it so its like waiting for someone to explode when theyre mad. lyrics arent posted yet so thats all i got
