Again We Rise Lyrics

Rise!
Store-bought attitude and spit
A sugar coated piece of shit
An instant rebel, just add greed
Another useless commodity
Broken glass and a broken jaw
Lies are told in a southern drawl
Poor-house poverty's your shtick
The real thing...

A song to awake and raise the conscious mind of the Nationalist Patriotic American Southerner, as the last men standing if necessary for ''Righteous Individuality'' that the Protagonist believes lost some of It's Character of integrity, honesty and responsibility throughout the years as a compromised Southerner in this world of The Sweet and ''Barefoot In The Park'' indulgencies given to Him that still looks tempting on the outside, by which still knows how to hide Her inner sins that are evermore dangerous and rotten now. Where He needs to keep fighting for the real truth and not to become a unreal phony acting rebel devil that sold out for The Northern Dollar or for some of the evil Institutions of Hollywood for gaining fame and money that in the long run could make one feeling too complacent, just sitting there. In otherwords the Protagonist doesn't want us just to become like ''Bumps On A LOG'' for Them or ourselves for that matter. Lamb of God wants us to be real with ourselves and rise again for OUR COUNTRY with a GOD given dignity to seek the truth and fight for the God given rights of OUR souls not to be sold out.

My interpretation is that the song addresses posers, who dress like and act like rebels with a saddy sad life story. But in reality are living a pampered life like a sugar coated piece of shit. They enjoy being a poser(Like their parents sucks and dont want to live with them) but not knowing the harsh reality (they cant really live without them) of what theyre posing that the real thing will kill them quick. In short they hate faker and rejects them, because fakers are insults and will never be truly one of them.

I think the meaning is that people who are rejected and oppressed mean nothing to society and that there are many who think they know what it's like to not belong and dont know what they are rising against.

My interpretation(probably way off) is the want for a southern rebellion and a reply. The world is so changed now those with the pride sould hold their tounges and wait their turn. "The real thing would kill you quick" - I see it as the southern confederacy in the civil war saying things are so changed "Store bought attitude and spit, a sugar coated piece of shit", you wouldn't have what it takes. Just wait.
    "Rise, again we will rise"
