Song Released: 2017

I don’t lose, I don’t win, if I’m wrong, then I’m halfway right
Used to get high with the dead end kids

I think in this song, Chester is reflecting on his past about how he always dismissed what his parents and elders told him. He wishes he had listened back then, when he could actually apply the advice he was given. He finds himself in a situation where he's just stuck, and knows that if he had learned from his parents/guardians mistakes, he would probably not be in the fix he's in.

I think the general meaning is that he used to go get high with kids that werent going any where in life didn't go to school or have jobs just hung out all day doing drugs in buildings that were abandoned and all kinds of bad things have taken places in there caused by drugs which is my interpretation of "the shadows" being drugs, sex, regrets and all kinds of other not good or legal.
