No More Sorrow Lyrics

Are you lost
In your lies
Do you tell yourself I don't realize

Your crusade's a disguise
Replace freedom with fear
You trade money for lives

I'm aware of what you've done

[Chorus]
No no more sorrow
I've paid for your...

I find it funny that many of you say it is about how bad bush was, but all the lyrics can fit our president, Barak Obama funny.

There are at least two ways to interpret this song.
First one is the political because we have
    Replace freedom with fear
    You trade money for lives

Which is clearly referring to bush
But we also have the much closer personal thing.

"l've paid for your mistakes" which is perhaps about friend who have been using you kinda like in Runaway.

And this song has nothing to do with their recording company or whatever

This song is super easy and if you don't get.....u must be a little stupid......it's talking about the government and what hell they put us through. And he's saying its enough and there's no more sorrow

Pretty simple, anyone ever read the Bible? Anyone know who paid for our mistakes? The first time I heard the song that's what I got. Going off of that listen to the rest of the song, it gets deeper.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

No, MRO and the red spade definitely got it rite. It's about bush because if you look in the lyrics booklet, the original lyrics in the first verse verse are "are you lost in your lies, do you tell yourself 'i don't realize my campaign's a disguise.'" And in the second verse it says "you trade freedom for fear / replace money for lives" which is obviously talking about the war in Iraq and soldiers losing their lives.

    Ok this sounds stupid
    But
This song is about theives and hypocrites
    Think about it
The 1st part s about Thieves; "do you tell yourself I don't realize"
and the 2nd is hypocrites; the singer trusted the person and the person that was trusted turned their back on the singer
"I'm beginning to think that I've been decieived/You will pay for what you've done."

Not every song on the CD is about bush...just one...and that's hands held high. this song has to be their record company. they have had many disputes with them, and I heard they were going to do a song about it. if this isn't it, then which one is it?

Very easy song to interpret. He is clearly talking to Bush, and possible other world leaders about everything they have done wrong. The lies, deceit, etc.
