What I think it's talking about is a girl that was in his life for a brief amount of time. Before that, he was going through a rough spot in his life, but while she was there, everything seemed perfect and he forgot about his troubles ('Cause she made my stormy sky beautiful). For some reason, she drifted out of his life (She dried my eyes and drifted off), and even though he doesn't grieve for her, he would like to see her again (Light up the sky, shy violet angel eyes).
