Pierce the Veil: Chemical Kids and Mechanical Brides Meaning
Chemical Kids and Mechanical Brides Lyrics
Everyone is watching you
Told you why I see no need for the sun
I've found a reason to say
A love you light is a love soon gone
If this is it
Don't bother cause this love is a lie
I'm a chemical kid /...

#1 top rated interpretation:In the music video, i thought that maybe the song meant that the kid was so trapped in his past that he couldn't open the door to his future so when he was walking through the house (his mind) he finds a girl
and the girl says " i'm the one trapped inside of you"
he asks" what do i have to do?"
and she responded "let go"
so at the end he stops thinking about his past and he finally lets go and that allows him to open a new chapter in his life ( a new door) -
2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:As aforementioned, the music video would suggest that the child couldn't open up the door to his future, but the conversation that took place is as follows.
(Boy): Who are you?
(Girl): I am a prisoner of your mind.
(Boy): What do I have to do?
(Girl): You have to let go.
Wouldn't that suggest that holding onto someone for too long can imprison both you and that person in your mind so that neither of you could move on to something better? Neither person in this relationship would be able to move on until the other also did. -
I feel like it’s about just being trapped... and not being able to move on that why at first the boy can’t seem to open the door to move on to the next chapter.

I think it's about vic not being inlove with a girl but the girl is inlove with him. Because of this line "don't bother because this love is a lie" we'll that's what I think

I honestly think that this song is deffinately about being trapped in iether your past or just a past event and needing to let go...Its a great song and once again the lyrics are beautiful...How vic does it i dont know...lol
