Stupid Girls Lyrics

Stupid girl, stupid girls, stupid girls
Maybe if I act like that, that guy will call me back
Porno Paparazzi girl, I don't wanna be a stupid girl

Go to Fred Segal, you'll find them there
Laughing loud so all the little people stare
Looking...

Um... I think that these previous interpretations have merely scratched the surface of what the song actually means and what p!Nk (note: spelled with an exclamation point; real name alecia moore) desires to convey. Among other things, she sings about the sexploitation and superficiality of hollywood girls, who are famous for ridiculous reasons: shopping sprees, excessively skinny body, exploiting their bodies, irresponsibility, etc. When she asks where all the female presidents have gone, she means that those respectable, responsible, intelligent women who should be famous are difficult to find. She is talking about how feminism is diminishing due to those females who disrespect themselves and sell their bodies instead of their minds. P!Nk wants girls to learn how respect tastes like and what it is, and know that respect tastes better than attention. In short, she wants girls to know that they shouldn’t need to conform just because everyone else is that way or society expects them to act or behave a certain way. This song basically conveys her view that these hollywood "stupid girls" have a corrisive affect on young female minds. This is the gist of my thoughts. E-mail me if you have any questions. I like analyzing lyrics. ^^

Pink is saying how these high maintenance girls are always hurting themselves to look good when the should just be good for themselves. She wishes that everyone would stop worrying about looks and start worrying about brains and self respect.

I think this song is about how Pink is a very smart girl, but the girls in Hollywood who are a lot more famous than she are getting famous for stupid reasons: burning all of there skin then burning all of there fat off so they look pretty. They rely on Daddy to max out credit cards. Amazing songs, I think she is correct girls should be famous for their brains not there miniskirts

Well... I think that many people are becoming the sort of girl that is kinda silly and just wants boys. The song says about sex and how girls are just submitting to boys. And that girls are becoming sort of spoiled? Also... I think that girls are more and more just wanting popularity? There are great minds going to waste just because people A: Want boys; or B: Want to fit in. I also think that make-up is not needed. I mean, if you think about it... If someone doesn't like you for who YOU are, then they aren't worth it. It's not the appearance that matters. It's what is on the INSIDE that matters. Basically, I think that Pink is trying to say: Be that outcast. Be yourself. Let people like you for who YOU are. Don't throw everything away for a boy.

In this song Pink is explaining the fact that women themselves are the reason they are objectified as sex objects and do not have the same respect as men. It's amazing that she's not afraid to criticize her own female gender which is so incredibly rare in this feminist world we live in today. Women are quickly losing their right to be treated as equals due to their preference for the superficial over anything with substance as well as actively trying to be objectified. However, this song will do nothing to stop the bigoted hate group that use the same name of an earlier group of women who fought to be treated as equals. "feminists". Todays Feminists are a fundamentalist group who blame men for all of their problems and do not take any responsibility for themselves. They are driven by blind irrational hatred with no basis in evidence. They are similar to many other hate groups such as neo nazis, white supremacists, anti gay groups etc.

Well mostly this song is about how people like p!nk would normally act like. Such as snobby ,and so prefect. Actually it makes much sense that is kind of easy to understand. Someone with p!nk's fame would be obsessed with what she wore ,and her weight. And this song also says In quote "maybe if I act like that" like she means that is most famous women would act one way like Britney spears(no offense) ,and P!nk wants t act like her self ,and that is honestly one reason I like p!nk. Also many singers don't make songs this (go figure). if you think about it most pop songs now are about: money, romance, sex, and annoying lines repeated lines. I think my only two favorite singers I like are p!nk ,and lorde

I think p!nk is an amazing person I think she is trying to intepret that anyone one can Look good but not anyone can get straight a's . Also I think you should embrace your looks and body so what if you are slightly fat as long as yout healthy don't stick a toothbrush down your throat to to the jim. Masking yourself with makeup is hiding you and when you do settle down do you won't to be with someone who is only with you because you have massive boobs are super skinny have blonde hair and capes yourself on make up how is that true love .

    BE UNIQUE NOT A SHEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be proud of the way you Look embrace yourself and rember any one can be born good looking but not anyone can achieve straight A's

P!nk being a feminist, is trying to show girls that being different is okay and that you don't need to be a "barbie doll" to fit in. It shows that girls in the media are mostly negative influences on young girls.

Sorry, but you can be intelligent, successful being and looking feminine, what P!nk is questioning is being a bimbo, looking like a w#ore and selling your body.
You can be feminine without being a w#ore.

Unfortunately, the message of Stupid Girls is as much confused as it is instructive. Instead of attacking the culture and media that pimp unrealistic beauty standards, Pink targets girls whose self esteem is so low that they are throwing up their lunches to attain Hilton’s same gamine profile. In the video, the vision of strength Pink offers up as the antidote is a typically masculine one; Pink gritting her teeth and scoring a touchdown as she plays tackle football with the guys, Pink, free of make up, acting stern in a powersuit and glasses. The message is clear, and echoes the ideas that culture broadcasts every day — that femininity equals weakness; to be a strong woman, you must act like a man. Strangely enough, Pink’s intended “radical” is only the same old same old.

Okay I'm not trying to insult the person above me. But P!nk is far far far from being against girl wanting to be healthy. She works out all the time and is vegan or vegetarian I forget which. She promotes staying fit but she does not promote sticking a toothbrush down your throat to do so. P!nk always uses her fame to make a positive influence on the world which is what this song is all about. P!nk is making a statement against all these stars who are idolized for the wrong reasons. She wants young girls to make something of themselves and realize the stupidity in bulimia/anorexia, silicone boobs, disgustingly priced outfits, making a show of your body, etc. You get the point. She wants respectable things to be respected and people to not be afraid to not fit in. Cuz fitting in is not worth it if it means being naive, non goal oriented, and sometimes just plain old stupid.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is p!nk's view on what America has come to. I think she is talking about how ridiculous females in our society have become. I think the song is about how ridiculous women are now. They sre obsessed with their weight, being healthy and having god taste in fashion. There sren't as many sensible women. The song is also about hollywood and what that whole scene is like. I love the song! :)

which PLANK thinks that pink is even REMOTELY jealous of the plastic, it girl wannabes? She has her own highly successful music career, a string of awards,a brilliant song-writing mind and a devoted husband. Hello? Paris Hilton has... a rich daddy and any boyfriend she wants, as long as she'll shag him on video. Lindsay Lohan has... basically been kicked out of the hollywood elite because she lost her contract at the studio for partying too hard. Nicole Ritchie has... dozens of tabloid headlines, sayin "Too Thin" And has she had plastic surgery? NO! Does she LOOK like she's had plastic surgery? She's good-looking, but by no means skinny, bronzed and "perfect" in the way that the STUPID GIRLS are. Whoever wrote that pink is being ironic SERIOUSLY should be plugged into this song on repeat until it sinks in. DUH!

Sorry what muppet acctualy sed "at the end of the day paris hilton's doing better in the music game!" , what planet are you from paris hilton has onli released 2 songs, pink is a grammy award winner she has realased 4 albums, n has had a lot more than 2 number one's oh yer and she can acctualy sing n doesn't need a computer to make er sound acceptable. Paris hilton is onli famous because of her father, and for being and "it" girl.

This song is about not following the crowd, standing up for what you believe in, also its highlighting the fact that you don't need to look perfect (by stavation or surgery) to do somefink amazing. It is tring to say you can get noticed for more that you body image.

Well, what I think about this song is that really it's a bit ironic. Mainly because pink (not sure of her true name?)she's singing about all these kind of paris hilton type wannabe girls and you have to ask yourself in a lot of ways is she just the same as them! Or does she secretly want to be like them. Is she a little jealous? She's had to conform to get to where she is now! I bet she's had loads of different kinds of surgeries (teeth, lipo, etc,). I agree with pink's lyrics but at the end of the day paris hilton's doing better in the music game! (with or without the tiny t-shirts from fred segal!)

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I think this song is about all the girls that are obsessed with their weight and will do extreme things that are stupid just to fix that. And also saying that sometimes when a girl sees a female cleb on tv they sometimes want to act or look like them. And will attemp almost anything to achieve it

Pink is just proving a point that most of the time girls can be so obsessed with the way they look and the way they present themselves for other people (i.E. Guys) when they should try to just do things and present themselves to make themselves happy, not everyone else.
