    It was originally written for romeo and juliet, but thom yorke refused to put it on the soundtrack cause it was too close too him. The main meaning though is about the romeo and juliet story

    At first I thought this song was about a mother and daughter fleeing from their home after being abused at the hands of their father.

    But when I heard the line "now we are one" it made it seem as if the song's about a young couple eloping and a daughter escaping a strict and overbearing father.

    This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
