Chances are, we can all relate to this song at one or more points in our lives. It's about feeling awkward, not knowing what to do, being oblivious of how to take the next step towards getting someone to notice you. This poor guy is so swept away by this girl, and the thought of saying something stupid around her is mortifying. He feels invisible to her. Good song.
