The Weight Lyrics

I wanna go back,
Forget that it's over
Paint it in black,
When you left me alone
I never knew,
She was sleeping next door with the kid I grew up with,
And I can't go back to her anymore, no

You tell me you were happier with him, you want...

I love this song so much and it explains so many things that us other people possibly couldn’t if we got cheated on. He stays so calm where as if I got cheated on by my boyfriend with my best friend I would go crazy.

Basically this song is about his girlfriend cheating on him with his best friend. She wants to come back but he just can't seem to get over it.
