The Fray: Fall Away Meaning
Fall Away Lyrics
That could make you come back down
You made up your mind to leave it all behind
Now you're forced to fight it out
You fall away from your past
But it's following you
you fall away from...

Yeah,I can relate to it a lot. It's about leaving the past behind, living in the now,and being happy to forget and let go

It's about being ashamed of your past, if anyone asks about it you simply lie. You do everything you can to avoid speaking of it. You think if you bring it up it can suck you back into that state of mind you were trying to avoid because what you went through is unbearable. But time after time there are things everywhere that remind you of what has happend. Things that won't go away, a permanent reminder of your past and you can escape from it. You have to face your past and fight your demon. The things you have done cannot be changed, you can't just run away from your past because it is a part of you something bind to you and makes you who you are today. It will forever follow you.

Man this song stalks me O.O I interpret it as you're just starting to forget about bad things that happened to you and mistakes you made but you keep coming back to it.
