    I believe it is a love triangle where a person falls madly in love with a girl that loves a guy that loves them. I think they all to some extent like each other and can never make up their mind about who is the one they should stay with. Finally, the person decides to just leave and let guy and the girl stay together. Also, the bisexuality reference in "That's just a phase, it's got to pass"...
