Last to Know Lyrics

Words travel fast,so you spend all your time in your head. What's the point in that? Cause words never last what you say now is not what you said and I'm ok with that.
Your keeping yourself tied up so you won't let me down, didn't you ever think...

It's like they're together but the girl is kind of just trying to be a good person but doesn't really love the boy and the boy wants to say that the girl should just do what she wants. And he's trying to tell the girl that she should let another boy experience her love and don't let h be the last to know

I'm not quite sure but I think this song is about a guy and a girl in a relationship and she's kinda shy and he's wondering if they're something/someone going on behind his back

the song is kinda complicated, and the message, I'm really confused about it.
but my interpretation for the song is that a guy loves someone, and he's asking for a chance to let him love her. And the guy knows that if that chance didn't work theyll be apart forever.
And the guy was asking to keep him posted about everything that he needs to know
