Ween: Dont Get Too Close to My Fantasy Meaning
Dont Get Too Close to My Fantasy Lyrics
It won't be long anyhow
It's just around the corner
The destiny that I embrace with you
Don't get too close to my fantasy
Don't be afraid to clutch the hand of your creator
Stare into the...

Overdosing on heroin is bad. I always hear that this song is about child molestation (“Don’t quiver little boy / Your daddy’s with you now”) which—knowing the Weens—is just as likely as anything else. Even so, I feel this dreamy, Zeppelin-esque track is more a cautionary tale: The lyrics mention “drifting off into dreams” and “the gentle kiss of night,” which, like opiates, sounds nice and relaxing—until you do too much. The desperate message intensifies as the track goes on, culminating in an epic vocals-only breakdown at the end of the song, hammering it home: Be careful not to have too much “candy,” or you’ll wind up meeting your maker.

That thing with the child molestation sounds logically, singing about the shit that happens on earth doesnt mean to endorse it
-
People need to realize that sometimes even thought a Ween song may seem to be about something it is Ween and chances are it isn't really about child molestation but about them making a goofy song that's sort of about child molestation but not really.
Ween does not endorse child molestation just like they probably don't know somebody named Mr. Richard Smoker who likes cognac, black coffee, little boys, and crystal meth. -
This song is about child molestation
Don't quiver little boy, your daddy's with you now
it won't be long, anyhow
pretty creepy once you realize it, the tong becomes much more powerful
Don't be afraid to clutch the hand of your creator
stare into the lion's eyes, and if you taste the candy
you'll get to the surprise
