The Silence Remains Lyrics
Despite what you give, it's just never enough.
Then you're left cold, tired, and alone,
Searching for something that's already gone.
You try not to be afraid,
Bound down by all of these things that they...
Another twist: one works hard all their life, alone, never getting praise or recognition, and yet never complaining--trudging on to the end. I'm strong but I'm tired. I'm old. Now it's time and God will hold me in his arms throughout eternity--in His peace and eternal silence.
"Rest here in peace in my arms now"--I will shelter you and keep you safe. Life is hard and unrelenting, yet you trudge on against all odds--never complaining, never giving up.
You're strong and brave, but I can see that the world is beginning to take it's toll. Forever and always, I will be here to silence the storm and keep you safe. Rest here in my silent love. A tender and simple love song.

This song means that when people lose everything they had, they are left out in the world; no job, no home, no money. But, they still have hope, faith and an urge to go on, and God is watching over them always. Even when facing odds against them on the streets, God has their back and they will always win. They are also humble and kind and do not boast about their success.
