Melt My Heart To Stone Lyrics

Right under my feet there's air made of bricks
Pulls me down turns me weak for you
I find myself repeating like a broken tune
And I'm forever excusing your intentions
And I give in to my pretendings
Which forgive you each time
Without me...

Its a great song sad in a way I believe it is about some1 being your weakness even though she gets hurt she can't help herself but forgive him over and over despite the fact that he hurts her.She says you build me up and leave me dead which might mean he gives her impression that he feels the same but leaves her when she starts falling inlove.she has an imagination of him saying words that they can be together but when she is being realistic she realises she is the only one inlove so she must accept it.

Adele likes a guy, but he doesn't like her back. She says he melts her heart, but since she isn't getting his love returned her heart is hardening. She tries to convince herself there is hope, but she feels there is none.

This Song Is Simply her journey with her ex-partner. She Says in the beginning that she falls for him every time after every mistake. She also goes on to say that she "hear your words that I made up" which means she trying to convince herself its not over and they can still be together. She says whenever she tries to leave she" I feel my heart began to burst and bleed" which means she in love with him regardless of everything he does to her. She tries to link her heart with her head but she cant and she goes right back to him. But Then she realized that he builds her up then just messes her up again. then she begins to realize he's no good for her.
