Song Released: 2017
You'd say you'd stay but then you'd run
Giving you what you're begging for
Giving you what you say I need
I don't want any settled scores
I just want you to set me free
Giving you what you're begging...

Bored by Billie Eilish, I think the latest comment explained it too. I think it's about a boy and a girl. The girl is bored and all she really wants from the boy is to stop playing games with her and love her for free. If they really end their relationship, she has to accept his decision and live life without him.

I think this song is about a girl who is really trying to keep a relationship with someone alive and the other person isn’t trying at all. Once they leave she is hurt but she also knows that she will be okay.

" I'm not afraid anymore. What makes you sure. You're all I need forget about it and when you walk out the door and leave me torn ur teaching me to live without it
Bored.. I'm so bored.."
I think the parent where dhe says" I'm not afraid anymore wht makes you sure " means that she was afraid of letting go and afraid of loosing someone. She still is afraid but isn't showing it cuz she just wants the relationship to end.
" you're all I need. Forget about it " means the first thought that comes into her mind is that shes nothing without him. He is her everything and doesn't want to leave him but instantly she recalls how unfair this relationship was and says forget about it.
" when you walk out the door and leave me torn your teaching me to live without it"
When he decides to leave her with no hesitation it breaks her, crushed her and tears her apart. She is hurt but she realises at the same time this relationship has taught her to bare with pain and to live without him.

I think this song is about a girl who in her relationship feels undervalued by her boyfriend. She is clearly very in love with him but he isn't giving her the same energy back and it is slowly breaking her apart. The girl tries to give everything to him, but its not enough, so she wants to be free from the relationship because she's lost patience of him not caring about her feelings. Every time he neglects her and leaves her torn, she feels that it's getting easier to be able to be without him and that she can be on her own.

I honestly think this is about a girl and a boy who love each other but has already been through so much so they can't commit. Or the boy can't love her and shes learning to just forget about it.

i think that this song is about a toxic relationship, and that she used to be scared of losing them but she's grown to be bored of the games and she doesn't want to fight anymore, she wants them to either give her the love she deserves or to let her go. she doesn't want to get even, she doesn't want revenge. she just wants to be free.

I think that the song follows the story of a boy and a girl. The boy is constantly, and slowly breaking her apart, piece by piece, until she's giving everything to him, while he's locking her in a never-ending cycle of hate and abuse. Soon, the girl realizes what's happening, and she begins to become bored of this all. Fearless, she begs for freedom, knowing, that she can live on her own.

“Giving you what you’re begging for” I think the guy is using her for her body. He shows no interest in her other then sex. “And when you walk out the door and leave me torn” He walks out on her and she feels torn because he like “tore” all her clothes off and just left after he got enough. “I’m not afraid anymore” she’s not afraid to tell someone that he’s using her. “What makes you sure you’re all I need” she knows that he’s not what she needs but he’s what she wants. “I just want you to love for free” she wants him to love her. Like really love her, go on trips with her, have real conversations with her. And “for free” because she wants him to not need her body to stay. Its like she’s paying him with her body and that’s why he’s still with her.

I think the song is about a couple but the boy takes the girl for granted and is always leaving or cancelling plans they may have made. It leaves the girl torn so she decided to end the relationship and when the boy thought that he was all she needed, she knew that he wasn't because he was never there for her.

Giving you what you’re begging for - He’s begging for her to leave him, to end it, give him space
Giving you what you say I need
- He’s saying she needs to get away from him
When you walk out the door and leave me torn you’re teaching me to forget about it
- he walks out a lot during fights and leaves her there alone which he probably thinks will help the situation but it teaches her to live with out it
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

It's about a girl in a relationship with a boy who don't give a damn about her feelings while she loves him a lot .. she tried to make him comfortable and don't reject anything he asks for and gave him all of her time soul love and care but keeps on hurting her until he crushed her heart and broke her ... Until she lost all of her patience for him and gave up on him

“Giving you what you’re begging for” could be in reference of giving him her all meaning her body, mind, and soul. She listens to him, does what he tells her to because she says “giving you what you say I need” she could also be talking about getting used (sexually) and mentally and thrown away like it’s nothing when he walks out

I think this song is about a boy she was giving her all to. “Giving what you begging for” maybe giving him sex cause he’s wanting it but then pushes her away and she’s bored of him but loves him so much she will run back when he wants more.

I think you can also look at this song from a point of view of friendship. A guy (best) friend who isn't really a friend while she is giving her everything, every piece of her. And she's bored of his behavior where he doesn't give 'enough fucks' in her opinion. But she accepts that he isn't any good to her so if he leaves her, she will be torn but she will learn to live without him. And she knows she will be able to do that.
What I think is that he was toxic to her.Manipulative...he hurt her the and tied her down. She gave him everything but she wants her freedom now,to be done with his routine of a life. The continues doubtable words he fed her and most of all his love, that kind of love you can't afford.
I think theyre with a person in a situation neither of them wants to be in. one has the courage to leave while the other is stuck. the brave one doesn't want to leave without the other person so they beg and try. little does the scared one know is that the brave one was scared too and still is but is trying to overcome it for the both of them
