Black Sabbath: The Devil Cried Meaning
The Devil Cried Lyrics
-
A heroic deed by the protaganist in this song sung by Ronnie James Dio playing in the band Black Sabbath by descending into hell to save a soul to make it back to Heaven if only he could make the devil cry in the hell that he is in. Now according to my understanding in the faith, the only individual that went into hell and the first to go to Heaven from there is Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour to come to the christian faith who overcame death for us believers that saved the many souls from the hell they were in by the power of his Father[GOD] who is in Heaven where Jesus became One with. So in this song the only thing i can think of is that Dio followed in the footsteps of Jesus to save a soul from hell if he could make the devil cry, because Dio knew like Jesus did that lucifer[devil] loved God the most a long time ago before God created the first man Adam. Then lucifer[satan] became jealous in his pride not to bow down to anybody and confusing the world in chaos by his own evil glory for years up to the time for balance when Jesus[2nd Adam] came to fullfil the scriptures with God given spirit of life, but was crucified and went to hell first before ascending to Heaven in the glory of God after telling the devil like Dio did in this song by the words ''Ilove You'' and when he heard those words ''The devil cried''
