Anthem Pt. 2 Lyrics

Everything has fallen to pieces,
Earth is dying help me Jesus
We need guidance, we've been misled,
young and hostile, but not stupid.

Corporate leaders, politicians,
kids can't vote, adults elect them
Laws that rule the school and...

This song is just about being a teenager and having to deal with authority. This song is about all the things that piss you off- stupid rules, not having control of your life, and adults who act like you can't have an opinion because you are a teenager. Also its how kids are just products of their elders and how they f**ked us up and they are to blame. As a kid everyone else rules your life and you can't control it. And yes live they talked about a kid who wore sweatpants and got a boner. He is an example of embarrassing things that happen to you as a kid. This song is the ANTHEM for all teens.

When Blink played thissong live, they DEDDICATED it to a guy who got a boner in gym at school.

I personally think this song is about the younger generation taking control over their superiours and how that the kids of today are taking the punishments for their elders mistakes. "Everything has fallen to pieces, Earth is dying, help me Jesus. We need guidence, we've been misled.." Could refer to how the older generation are misleading the younger generation.

    to the above:

its not about a guy pissin himself, its about a guy who was wearing sweat pants in P.E. and got a boner.

Tom explained at one of his concerts that he wrote this song for a boy that pissed his pants in highschool. And that it was really embarassing.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

This song implies how the kids actions are a result of their parents. "If we're fucked up you're to blame." Also how the government and other adults are directly telling us what to do. "Drown the youth with useless warnings"
