    This is a election / presidental / political critism song. You could see first at "But you only cared about - Fame and fortune - Watching others tortured - Casting your reflection - Grocery store perfection" which means that the natives was very very in doubt of the goverments and probably they only got the unprooved promises "You seemed so sweet at the start but the start's all wrong" Are the statement while the rednecks are rushing during the election seasons.
