Today My Life Begins Lyrics
Seems like pain has been my only friend
My fragile heart's been done so wrong
I wondered if I'd ever heal again
Ohh just like all the seasons never stay the same
All around me I can feel a change (ohhh)

I heard he was in jail for cocaine or drugs. So this song, I'm pretty sure, is about him getting out and starting his life over. He's also saying that it was wrong for him to do whatever he did, but its too late to change it, so he must now live with the consequences. Maybe one day, he can live his life with happiness once again. So move on, life is short so don't waste your time trying to change it or control it all.

Looking through all of Bruno Mars' songs, I have realized that most of his work is based off of both love and love sickness. While there is a lot of evidence pointing to his regret for his drug charges, the main phrase that hits me is "My fragile heart". This does not mold to the idea that he is regretful. He is almost creating a self-pity party. He wants the world to know that he was screwed over by love.

I think its about selling out in the industry? No turning back now, so he has two live with his choice? He regrets it, knows he's wrong, and he is trying to justify his decisions m
Now he's made it big and somehow wants to change his mind or to beleive in the way he truly did at one time? Too late..Is done..

I believe that this song represents that he has been scared to act out and has hidden behind things throughout his life. I think he finally realizes that it's his life and he can live it for himself.
