   I think he's asking the fans to take him to a state of nirvana, happiness, euphoria...If you look at the video it seems like he's asking the AUDIENCE to take him higher. Like a drug high, except a natural high.

   OK. So maybe he was religious, but I don't think it's really about heaven. I think maybe everything in his life is not going exactly as planned, but his dreams are his and he can ignore the real world. Maybe his love isn't going well. Maybe they're fighting. Maybe this song was written out of desperation because he feels there is nothing left he can do for his love.

   This song is about just sitting around chilling. Smoking a bowl. Gettin a little stoned. Eatin some cheetos and ice cream sandwiches. Watching some Pee Wees Playhouse. Just getting mangled. You know what I'm sayin? Either that or God. Not too sure??????

   What I think this song talks about is somebody getting a girl pregnant and how happy he is, yet he doesn't know if he's ready: "Well I just heard the news today It seems my life is going to change I closed my eyes, begin to pray Then tears of joy stream down my face...Well I don't know if I'm ready To be the man I have to be I'll take a breath, take her by my side We stand in awe, we've created life"
   
   The main thing that makes me thing he got a girl pregnant is "we've created life" and there are other little hints in that section of the lyrics, and then I think he starts to talk about how he wishes his kid will turn out: "Welcome to this place I'll show you everything...I'll show you love I'll show you everything...I hope he's not like me I hope he understands That he can take this life And hold it by the hand And hold he can greet the world With arms wide open"
