one fantastic Genesis concert in early summer of 1977 at m.s.g in N.Y.,brilliant talent from the beginnings of this band sin ce the late 60's with the first songs like ''in the beginning''and ''the serpent'', when the likes of Anthony Phillips, J King, C Steward, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks with Phil Collins where then there were three left in the band to take Genesis in the westward direction of mainstream, it was an awesome rush to experience the sounds of this music that danced and flowed in many dimentions of time and at the same time in coming back togheter again, similar to Yes and the Moody Blues progressive sound. Well this song ''the burning rope'' feels like a Spirit of a Higher Power, as if he throws us the rope[the gift of grace] for us to climb up to escape the mob below to a possible better afterlife that we should prepare ourselves in the way we live our lives now that is not going to last forever.
