   This song is about the holocaust. The "drums" refer to the onomatopoeic thump made when the drums of gas are released that the Nazi's would prepare. The "trumpets going" refer to the release of the gas, killing the "trumpets" or in the contextualization of this piece of lyrical devastation, the Jews as they "go" to heaven.
