The Illuminati stuff seems a lot deeper than what I thought it was... I thought it was just about some weird alien sex. Fill me with your poison being about sex along with all the other references.
I like the Illuminati idea better because at least that means that the music has something to it other than sex. I love this song though, it's so catchy! -

She said herself that it was about 'being in love with a foreigner' but if that's so that's a really ignorant and offensive view. I'd rather think it was more of being in a bad relationship. Like she's in love with this guy, but he abuses her and controls her and she doesn't notice or care because she's so blinded by love.

I have yet to be convinced illuminati exist. I want solid arguments. FACTS. Music Industry Exposed is crap. They give you no sources. Where did they get information? I want to know so I can see for myself. They give you a bunch of information but nothing to back it up. Unless someone can give me their opinion and 2 GOOD reasons/proof as to why the illuminati exist I will believe in it.
This song, I personally think, is about a girl falling in love with a guy that is very different. When writing poetry/ music you sometimes don't write things EXACTLY as they are. That is the magic of it. You put it in your OWN words. -
to me, it could go either way. i can see where most people can divide into the following groups: love, sex, or illuminati. honestly, i tend to think it may have to deal with something deeper, and i just wanna say, the whole, "its obviously not about the illuminati, she hasnt admited shes in it" thank you, for telling us the obvious meaning of a secret organization, but in any case, the idea of illuminati is about as far out there as the 'alien-related' lyrics of this song, there has been discussions, but so far, i see no proof.

It's bigger than we think, it's not only Katy, but gaga as well. Her recent video, born this way is the exact same style as e.t. It has demonic/alien (same difference) undertones. They both wear weird ass alien/demon costumes. Katy's eyes are freaking scary, as if the demon is showing its true face. Then the baphomet goat legs in the end, along with the albino, reminiscent of the davinci code (connection). Kanye. Is inside of the huge eyeball, obviously referencing the illuminati, and the rain drop on the robot (reference to rain man demon mentioned in umbrella, produced by jay z, her cd called good girl gone bad).
Gaga and perry both started out "poppy" and sweet and now both these bitches go satanic... Wake up people, I'm not religious at all, but these are false idols, the bible refers to... People (like a few posters above) defend these so called artists, who openly admit to selling their souls....that's kinda their plan and it seems to be working.
Kanye says "we so high, up, up, up, We don't give a fu-u-u-ck".... Meaning, we are so high in the chain, were letting it all out on you poor souls and you dance to it.....they are trying to entice you. -
