I'm getting a reference to India Aires' "I am not my hair" in the 'I am my hair' lyric here, though I sincerely hope not since India is a Black woman singing about how having natural Black hair doesn't define her, and GaGa contradicting that from her position of white privilege is ... not good, even her over-all message is a similar point about doing what you want with your hair.

i think she's talking about the head cover(hejab) for Muslims girls!!! right? because theres alot of girls here in our arab world dont want to wear hejab but there parents forced them to wear it!!! we <3 gaga!!
