I think this song is about, let’s say a mother or father. Or he’ll even friend! They never quit. They held on to everything. They did as much as they could. No one could stop them.and all they want now is the same, fuck that, better life then that. It’s really a beautiful song.

I believe the song is about living your life to the fullest and living each day as if it was your last because tomorrow isn’t promised tomorrow for anyone. And this song reminds me that you only live once so at the end of your life can you say “I owned every second that this world could give.” Cause if you can’t say it now then you may want to be able to say it cause Live a strong and amazing leaf act and touch every heart cause trust me tell remember the people that showed the kindness empathy and love. I think it means to live life to its fullest and take advantage of every opportunity that comes your day because the good that comes from it will always outweigh the bad.

I think it's about a guy who is about to die for some unknown reason. Like I mean, it's kind of like he's telling his friends, or possibly siblings to live life while they still can. The part where he says "But until my moment comes", I think that means I have lived and learned that sometimes it ends early, but I'm holding up for you guys because I love you. It is like his final goodbye to everyone one he knows, and he decides to through in some advice.

The message I got from this song was to experience everything you possibly can in life.
"I hope that you fall in love and it hurts so bad" is his way of saying that he hopes you feel the full effect of love, even the part that hurts, because the good outways the bad.
I also think he is trying to say that we should us our time wisely "I hope that you spend your days,cuz they all add up." You can afford to spend some days wasting time, but you can't afford to waste your life, one day at a time. You have to get out and see the world before it is too late! -

To me this is a love letter from someone who is no longer here and they are sharing a life of lessons. This person takes responsibility for the mistakes he has made and the lesson he wants to share is make every day count. That although you may think he is not here to be with you to share in life, to remember "I lived" and for you to do the same.

I think it means that even with the cystic fibrosis, Bryan keeps living life at the most. And he shows that we should take the risks and live all the great experiences that life gives us, and isn't afraid of anything.
