Once a girl I loved told me to listen to this song, she loved me too but she lost faith in us and she stopped trusting me;in her eyes I was a different person than the one she loved... Was probably due to something stupid I said or did but that doesn't matter anymore. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is, the song is about a girl that still wants to love and be with a guy but the feelings just aren't there anymore. I think maybe this song is about her being in a one-sided relationship with someone, where she is hopeless and depressed, and the other person in the relationship is caring for her and not getting any caring back in return. Later on, the depressed one realises how selfish she's been but can't tell the other person how she feels.
